The PDP Concept Series drums are the latest series of drums from PDP, designed with the highest level of playability and versatility in mind. This reimagined line of drums is aimed at every drummer, boasting a fresh new design that's available in a wide range of today's most popular configurations. High-end components including STM (suspension tom mount), True-Pitch tension rods, a MAG throw-off and die-cast, low-mass claw hooks to make the Concept Series drums real competitors at this price range. The series is available in a selection of durable lacquer finishes, with this version in a new wrapped Satin Olive finish.

The PDP Concept Maple 22" 7pc Shell Pack offers a foundation set-up that comes with the PDP 800 Series HArdware pack, which includes a straight and boom cymbal stand, kick pedal, hi-hat and snare stand. It is a great place to expand with add-on drums and holders, if you choose. When paired with high-quality cymbals and hardware, the PDP Concept Maple shell pack provides a superb experience for drummers of any level, offering the high-quality components and features that professional drummers require.

Maple shells for a superior tone

Maple has been a favourite drum shell wood of both drum manufacturers and players for a long time. Its boosted low end, smooth mids and highs help it sit well in just about any style of music. Because of this, you'll often find maple used in high-end kits and by the most well-respected players around.

Open resonance and reliable tuning

The toms featured on the PDP Concept Maple 22'' 7pc feature graduated chrome counter hoops, meaning the smaller drums on the kit feature thinner hoops, allowing them to resonate further and more freely to produce far richer tones. The Concept Maple Shell Pack also features DW's STM (Suspension Tom Mount) system which allows the toms to resonate independently without any muting from hardware to shell contact. In order to provide drummers with even more control over their own sound, DW has created its True-Pitch tension rod system. The rods feature 5mm threads instead of the standard 12mm or 24mm threads that are on most other drum kits. This enables more accurate tuning, allowing you to hold a consistent tone from your kit.

PDP 800 Series Hardware

The PDP 800 Series Hardware Pack includes five pieces of medium weight drum hardware with pro-inspired features. The pack includes two cymbal stands (one boom, one straight), a snare stand, a hi-hat stand with clutch and a single kick drum pedal. Their medium weight profiles make them durable enough for prolonged use in a variety of settings, be it recording, practising or touring. Designed by Drum Workshop in California, the 800 Series Hardware Pack is a solid choice for advancing drummers and seasoned players alike.

The stands' versatile Glide Tilters allow for a variety of positional options, while the series of lightweight composite memory locks keep your settings locked in at all times. They're sturdy, too, thanks to their double-braced legs and oversized anti-slip rubber feet, guaranteeing a sturdy base for your gear.
