The Allen & Heath PA20 is a professional 20-input analogue mixing console designed for live sound, rehearsal spaces, schools, theatres and other applications requiring straightforward hands-on mixing. Combining 16 mono mic/line channels with two dual stereo channels, it provides extensive connectivity while maintaining an intuitive analogue workflow.

Each mono channel features a high-quality microphone preamp alongside a four-band EQ section. High and low shelving controls are complemented by dedicated low-mid and sweepable high-mid controls, providing detailed tonal adjustment for microphones and instruments. A 100Hz high-pass filter is also provided to help control unwanted low-frequency noise.

The PA20 incorporates a stereo digital effects processor with 16 presets, allowing useful effects to be added without requiring an external processor. Four auxiliary sends provide additional flexibility for monitoring and effects routing, while 100mm faders provide precise level adjustment.

Additional facilities include analogue and S/PDIF recording outputs, comprehensive output EQ and LED metering. Built around a robust steel chassis, the PA20 provides a substantial traditional mixing surface suited to live sound applications where direct access to every major control is preferred.
