The TRIO Band Creator features 7 different genres, with each genre consisting of 12 song styles. The pedal allows you to set up your initial loop and chord progression, and then alter its tempo and groove once recorded. With both 3/4 and 4/4 time-signatures to play around with, multiple tempos and grooves, control over the instrument levels, and a very clever set of algorithms, the DigiTech TRIO pedal is the perfect practice and live performance tool.
The TRIO pedal is capable of learning 3 different song sections, so you can manipulate its playback and create a full song arrangement with complex structures. This makes the TRIO the ideal pedal for the solo guitarist who requires an instant performance with a bassist and drummer.
The TRIO Band Creator would also make the ideal tool for guitarists wishing to practice soloing over different chord progressions, or for creating new songs and experimenting with grooves. The TRIO Band Creator has a wide range of connections that let you use it for live performance and silent practice. The output can be separated into guitar amp and mixing desk outputs, so your guitar tone can remain unaffected and be sent to your guitar rig, while the band output can maintain a full frequency response to be used directly with a PA setup.
A headphone output with separate level control provides a useful addition for silent practice. The TRIO also has an input for an optional DigiTech FS3X Footswitch (sold separately) that allows remote control of the pedal's functions – perfect for live hands-free use, should you desire.
