Key Features
The Taylor 326ce Electro Acoustic displays excellence in every detail. Epitomising Taylor's renowned craftsmanship, this showstopping guitar features a solid mahogany top for punchy, rich tones, urban ash back and sides for piercingly sharp clarity, and an ebony fretboard for smooth, luscious playing. All of these tonewoods come together in a magnificent Grand Symphony shape, granting you an excellent, bold voice that will soar proudly to the back of the room. And thanks to a striking three-ring rosette, Gemstone inlays, and other dazzling accents, the 326ce reflects its sublime sound in its aesthetic.
Beauty lies within the 326ce too. Supported and enhanced by V-class bracing, the body produces a sparkling, vibrant sound with great volume and sustain. And you'll have immaculate intonation that runs all the way down the neck, promising a magical performance in which every note sounds perfect. But what makes this guitar truly distinctive is the soundport cutaway which not only allows for easy access to the higher frets, but will also ensure your sound wraps everyone in its grasp, filling the room brilliantly. Sculpt your tone with ES2 electronics and project an amazing, amplified tone that retains every ounce of that sparkling acoustic goodness.

Crafted from a spectacular array of tonewoods, the Taylor 326ce is an expert's instrument. Its tropical mahogany top produces a gorgeously balanced, rich sound that has a focus on midrange frequencies. Let waves of resonance and charm wash over you. Such tonal qualities are ever-growing too, meaning you'll be granted a lifetime of sublime playing. Thanks to the hard, dense character of mahogany, it produces a bright tone to begin with and then gradually gets fuller as the wood matures.
Sustainably sourced urban ash takes centre stage on this guitar. Used for the body top, it has been supplied by West Coast Arborists, Inc., a tree maintenance and management company. Urban ash gives a new lease of life to trees that have needed to be taken down due to age, safety concerns, and other factors, and so would otherwise go to waste. But its not just eco-friendly values that urban ash possesses, it also delivers fantastic tonal qualities. Perfect for fingerstyle players that need glistening definition coating every note, urban ash has a focused, clean voice absent of overtones, meaning you'll have a superbly clear tone that will pierce beautifully through the mix.
The West African Crelicam ebony fretboard features a naturally high oil content which gives it a lusciously smooth finish. Slide effortlessly from fret to fret and lose yourself in a glorious playing experience, your sound will flow seamlessly from the strings. What makes the ebony used on Taylor guitars completely unique is the process of sustainable and socially responsible sourcing that has led to it being in your possession, made possible by Taylor's Ebony Project which takes place in Cameroon. Ebony is an extremely responsive tonewood that offers a beautifully bright sound, making it a gorgeous accompaniment to the tropical mahogany neck. Project your music with purpose and brilliant volume, ebony's snappy and crisp attack ensures that every single note cuts through the mix astonishingly well, leaving nothing unheard.
From smooth playability to superb surround-sound, the soundport cutaway featured on the 326ce has a wealth of supreme characteristics. The partial cutaway gives you effortless access to the higher frets, so you can soar seamlessly up the fretboard and let every note sing. And to ensure the Grand Symphony's tone is projected in all its glory, engulfing everyone in its presence, the second soundhole fills any room, large or small, with rich, warm, dazzling sound.
Better still, this guitar is also graced with V-class bracing, a revolutionary structure that shapes your acoustic sound. Transforming the guitar top vibrations, the framework provides sensational sustain, incredible volume, and pristine intonation. This matches perfectly with the urban ash top, giving you unbeatable clarity and beautifully rich sonic character.
One of the most compelling features of this guitar is the Expression System 2 that is mounted discreetly. Featuring three pickup sensors, this electronic system captures more acoustic dynamics than ever before. Combined with Taylor's 'professional audio' preamp, the 326ce allows you to plug into an amp, PA system, or recording software whilst always experiencing glorious acoustic tonal properties. Sculpt your tone with three soft rotary controls and achieve a sound that is well and truly unique.
