The Alesis Vortex Wireless features easily accessible headstock controls that include octave up and down, sustain hold, pitch and mod wheel, assignable ribbon strip with 3 separate modes and an assignable fader. Another fantastic feature of the Alesis Wireless Vortex is that it has an on board accelerometer which allows you to map anything to it, this enables you to use motion to access different assigned effects from filter sweeps to reverb and delay.

The Vortex's wireless connectivity is supported via the included USB receiver, which plugs directly into any MAC or PC USB port and establishes a live USB/MIDI link with up to 200 feet uninterrupted range. The Vortex Wireless also works with an opptional AC adaptor and can use 4 x AA batteries which allows for 4-5 hours battery life.
