The Mackie SRM1550 15'' Active Subwoofer is a premium-grade subwoofer designed for PA applications. The SRM1550 is designed to be the perfect match for the Mackie SRM450 and 350 PA speakers, providing an expansive way to build your PA system. The 15-inch subwoofer boasts 1200W of output power, more than enough for a wide range of spaces. The subwoofer is comprised of a 3-inch voice coil and an 18mm reinforced poplar cabinet. It also boasts integrated digital crossover with variable control presets for the SRM350 and SRM450 loudspeakers, for added flexibility. This allows you to setup and match the subwoofer with the loudspeakers for optimal audio performance.

The specialised design of the SRM1550 is intended for maximum low-end response and powerful bass reproduction. The 1200W amplifier helps to push the 15-inch custom high-output woofer for impressive power levels. It boasts a front ported design for maximum low-frequency punch, resulting in chest-bumping bass reproduction with exceptional power and definition. One of the most unique features of the SRM1550 is the Smart Protect DSP technology, which is designed to protect your subwoofer when it gets pushed too hard, ensuring maximum protection for the internal components.

The SRM1550 employs the same cosmetic design as the renowned SRM450, ensuring it will blend effortlessly with other SRM-series loudspeakers. The subwoofer features an 18mm, internal reinforced poplar cabinet, with an integrated steel grille, helping to keep your components and voice coil protected while in use and on the move. The rear of the unit features stereo XLR inputs, as well as a stereo XLR full-range and high-pass outputs for maximum versatility.
