The Samson QH4 4-Channel Headphone Amplifier is equipped with two balanced 1/4'' inputs, ideal for connection to your mixer or recording interface. On top of this, the unit also features a stereo 1/8'' Aux input, allowing you to connect smartphones and other line-level devices to the amplifier for audio playback. On the front of the amplifier are four stereo 1/4'' headphone outputs with individual level controls for each. The QH4 also features a unique 1/8'' Aux output that is perfect for daisy-chaining multiple QH4s together for massive signal distribution capabilities.
The QH4 allows you to check that your mixes are compatible with mono speaker systems. This is done using the QH4s global Mono button. This button allows you to quickly and easily check the mono compatibility of your tracks by switching to a mono output and enabling you to see if any of the audio is missing. This gives you the reference to check the phase of your recordings. It also allows you to take a split left and right feed from a stereo interview, and send both tracks to each side of your headphones. This is perfect for quickly monitoring a podcast, or a recording with split tracks.
