The perpetual licence allows you to buy the Pro Tools software outright, eliminating the need for an annual subscription. The perpetual licence comes complete with a free year of upgrades and support, keeping your software up to date. After a year you will no longer receive updates but will still have full access to the software.

The student/teacher version is for academic use only. To qualify for this, you must be in a learning institution such as a college, school or university. Please note that this version is not a multi-seat version but an educational version is available.
